The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for working with key NBCUniversal stakeholders, internally and externally, to generate demand in the marketplace for NBCUniversal, specifically with a focus on agency, client and ,category approach – with a singular goal of driving maximum ad sales revenue while ensuring we are the industry’s most-trusted partner for maximizing media effectiveness.

This position will report into the Manager of Trade Marketing.    

Responsibilities:

  • Create industry-leading marketing materials, campaigns, client experiences, and other B2B marketing tactics

  • Build and develop trade marketing campaigns that drive awareness of the benefits of being a partner (including sales materials, eblasts, sweepstakes, industry events & conferences, social campaigns, events, and more)

  • Develop immersive and one-of-a-kind experiences that help build sales relationships and positions the team as best-in-class

Desired Qualifications & Characteristics:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with an agency, client, media company, or sales organization background

  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs

  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail

  • Must be confident executing leadership’s direction in a fast-paced workflow

  • Strong organization and project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Exhibit core behaviors (e.g. clear and concise communication, client service, strategic thinking, problem-solving, detail oriented)

  • General understanding of advertising marketplace across various platforms

  • Experience in media marketing and the advertising sales process

  • Strong interpersonal skills (i.e., the ability to interact with all levels of management)

  • Strong organizational, project & event management skills

  • A positive attitude and the ability to work/communicate effectively with different constituents

  • A detail-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Highly innovative with positive energy

  • Excellent oral and written skills

  • A comprehensive understanding of the suite of Microsoft Office tools, other presentation platforms, etc. (Photoshop experience is preferred)

Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000
