MPG Operations LLC Software Engineer in New York, New York

The Software Engineer (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will maintain the applications deployed on various environments like UAT and production. Ensure the applications are available and running at all times. Responsible for developing different web services to extract, transform, and enrich the data with required reference data. Feed data into reconciliation tool Gresham and configure it to match the data with specific match rules. Work directly with portfolio management teams to analyze the data and reporting needs for exchange-tradedcurrency futures and options, which provide traders with contracts of a set unit size, a fixed expiration date, and centralized clearing. Partner internally with Operations Specialists and Portfolio Managers to enhance derivatives expiration data reports for foreign exchange (FX) and futures trading operations. Responsible for developing our Option Automation Service, which matches options assignment and expiration activity from data across enterprise databases. Build user interfaces (UI) with AngularJS as the front-end web framework, using front end development packages including AG Grid and ngx-bootstrap. Utilize programming languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, F# and Scala to develop and maintain micro services. Utilize SQL Server and SQL to maintain and update positions, transactions, and cash flow data in databases. Salary: $160,000 - $250,000 per year. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in a software development occupation, or related occupation, in the financial industry.
