Senior Software Engineer @ Harry’s, Inc. (New York, NY) As part of Harry’s Data Engineering team, orchestrate data platform strategy with Airflow. Design and implement differentiated data services to enable Harry’s to understand our customers and help our systems act on those insights. Contribute to scoping and delivery of cross-functional projects for our most important value drivers. Build all aspects of end-to-end data services in production. Research and utilize new approaches to building solutions, processes, and systems. Design and implement reference solutions, processes, and systems that set the team’s technical direction. Utilize computer technologies, languages, methodologies, and skills including Amazon Web Services (AWS), DBT, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Terraform, Cl/CD, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Tableau and Looker. This is a telework opportunity. Salary: $143,686 - $170,000 / year.Requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Data Engineer. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivaelent in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Data Engineer. Experience must include: SQL; Python; industry standard technologies and architectures for data processing (e.g., Hive, Redshift, Spark); debugging data, infrastructure, and code; and building, deploying, debugging, and improving services delivering value to users in production systems.
