Who You Are

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will help shape Justworks’ strategy by working within the Business Operations team. You will support the Salesforce Delivery Team, while designing and developing technical solutions for the Sales floor, Sales Management, Marketing and other internal teams, along with Justworks’ senior management. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally, focusing on administering the tech stack and maintaining a healthy, accurate database. In addition, you will perform data analysis using Salesforce native reporting functionality, Microsoft Excel and Tableau.

You’re an effective communicator, having worked with a sales team on Salesforce processes and best practices. You’re a self-starter who is continually learning and developing. You strive to make Salesforce automation as intuitive as possible for end users, and are looking to bring your knowledge to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Your Success Profile What You Will Work On

  • Oversee the successful delivery of Salesforce projects in accordance with Agile methodologies and serve as the point of contact for technical questions around Salesforce

  • Assess new work tickets as they are ready for assignment, including breakdown and assignment of tickets based on story point size and developer capability.

  • Maintain sprint cadence in Jira

  • Quarterback biweekly deployments and new feature releases

  • Review all metadata and code changes submitted through GitHub and ensure that source code is in good condition (no merge conflicts, test failures, deployment errors etc.)

  • Perform biweekly deployments and additional hotfix deployments as needed

  • Maintain and optimize system architecture, workflows and business processes based on best practices and business requirements

  • Ensure adherence to data governance standards and perform regular data quality audits.

  • All code and metadata changes are well documented and cross-functionally accessible.

  • Team process documentation is current and maintained in Confluence

  • Develop complex technical solutions as needed

  • Work with Business Operations leadership to increase efficiency, decrease margins and hit systems-based OKRs

  • Collaborate with revenue operations and data engineering teams to achieve revenue goals, data integrity and other business-level KPI

    Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years Salesforce or app development experience (certification preferred)

  • Experience integrating external systems

  • Experience administering third-party tools like SalesLoft, Docusign, ChiliPiper, Gong, etc.

  • Excellent and effective communication skills, with an emphasis on written technical documentation and/or end user training material creation

  • An organized, detail-oriented individual invested in maintaining the data integrity of a database with 200,000+ accounts

  • Self-starter who is interested in continuous learning and development

  • Someone who strives to release elegant, user-friendly solutions

  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases

    The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $127,000 to $139,700 per year.

    Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
