Amazon Senior Program Manager, Responsible Sourcing, Amazon Private Brands in New York, New York

Description

Amazon Private Brands is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the optimization of responsible sourcing execution worldwide, including managing implementation of new initiatives. Amazon is committed to ensuring that all Private Brands products are produced in a way that respects and protects the rights of workers across our supply chain, and to lead by example by upholding and enforcing Amazon's Supply Chain Standard against our own brands. This is a global role that will work closely with program, product, and tech teams owning Sustainability, Social Responsibility, and product sourcing.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop standardized operating procedures, RACI, audit mechanisms, and change management support for targeted interventions in conjunction with MEDO(W) performance improvement goals

• Vet, track, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures for day to day SR execution (audit scheduling and management, corrective action planning and remediation), including simplifying processes and eliminating process gaps (e.g., mismatched supplier data between PB and SR systems, differentiated process paths for PBC-onboarded vs. non PBC-onboarded businesses). This includes supporting the new QBR goal to complete or make progress on high risk remediation.

• Program manage SR budget tracking and project manage free cash flow initiatives (e.g., audit penetration between AMA and IAA, tracking SR spend on non-utilized facilities)

• Build, run, and maintain connection mechanisms with product family SR SMEs, APB Sustainability, and WWSR

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
