Progyny, Inc. Senior Program Manager - New Products in New York, New York

This is a new role that reports to the Director, Program Management - Product, and will be instrumental in supporting and advancing our product lines and assisting in building operational efficiencies within the Product Department. Responsibilities include helping to support the development and implementation of processes within the product department to support partner deliverables, developing, and managing timelines and dependencies, identifying risks/mitigations, and ensuring alignment across all teams, leadership and partners. This role requires you to work closely with product and manage stakeholders at all levels across all departments within Progyny, helping to nurture and manage cross-functional coordination partnering closely with product, engineering, marketing, operational and support services.

What you'll be doing...

  • Assist in Developing & implementing business processes to streamline product development * Managing tools (for road mapping, feedback, etc.) that the product team will utilize
  • Ensuring product team has access to data to help product management make better-informed decisions
  • Support the development and further enhancement of launch plans, readiness checklists and crossfunctional alignment internally and externally.
  • Support the cross-functional teams with Progyny sales, marketing, implementation, legal, finance, account management, and product teams to ensure continuous alignment.
  • Support Portfolio Prioritization Processes, assisting with implementation of product roadmap and prioritization software.
  • Partner with product and data analytics to manage and align internally and externally on deliverables to accelerate growth of product lines once in market.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure business priorities are communicated and engineering deliverables are aligned

About you...

  • 4-5 years of program management of complex projects and products aligning resources at all levels internally and externally towards successful launches * Proven experience in working to support product development and product operations
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship building, organization, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to adjust quickly and flexibly in a dynamic environment * Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, resourceful, and highly productive while still seeing the bigger picture
  • Proven ability to facilitate executive discussion and influence a recommended course of action
  • Possess analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal subject matter experts and external partners
  • Anticipate and manage conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments
  • Product operations experience, building out efficiencies in product teams Working knowledge of technology products, typical integrations and experience in creating joint products with other healthcare vendors and services companies Strong healthcare acumen and knowledge of employer benefits landscape BA/BS
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time and prioritize accordingly Demonstrated high skill levels of written and verbal excellence in business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a minimal amount of supervision
  • Must have strong ability to influence decision-makers, and proven negotiation skills

    In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $120,000 - $135,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
