The Creator team’s mission is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce creators and their content. We own the Associates and Influencer programs and brands across Amazon to ensure a cohesive experience, expand creators’ opportunities to earn through innovation, and launch experiences that reinforce feelings of achievement for creators. Within Creators, the Compensation team strives to make Amazon the best place for creators to earn. We collectively accomplish that mission by capturing creator-driven events, offering the right incentives to drive efficient results, accurately determine creator earnings, and ensuring correct and timely payouts.

We are seeking a technical, experienced, results-oriented leader to oversee the strategy and product vision for our event capture and attribution systems, as well as to drive our onsite earnings innovation, spinning the flywheel for creator content on Amazon. This is a highly visible position that requires a candidate with the proven ability to “Dive Deep” and “Think Big” by developing an ambitious roadmap in collaboration with Engineering and Science partners. This leader will work across geographies, business lines, and functions to innovate for creators. Successful candidates are leaders who can prioritize well, are technically excellent, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of innovating and delivering results. You should have strong customer obsession with the ability to dive deep, strong data/analytical skills, a self-starter spirit, and experience working with cross-functional teams.

You must be a strong owner and influencer, and someone who can think beyond the way things have always been done.

Key job responsibilities

• Monitor industry changes, technologies, and trends, determining when they should or shouldn't drive strategic, tactical, or roadmap shifts.

• Lead for session capture and attribution systems, determining which creators get credit for traffic and purchases from links or content on and off Amazon.

• Experimentation lead for your suite of products, working in partnership with science to test and learn iteratively. You will be responsible for setting experimentation priorities, guardrails, success metrics, and gaining approvals to execute innovative tests.

• Own performance metrics and success criteria for your products, as well as owning a key lever for efficiency in the business P&L.

• Work with WW business development leads to navigate existing attribution and define system requirements for new deal types, enabling Amazon to innovate in how we work with creators and reach their audiences.

• Create sustainable cross-functional and cross-product mechanisms to drive expansion and innovation while monitoring product and business health.

• Reduce defects and improve business performance through innovation and automation. Tirelessly improve products that will benefit creators and Amazon while owning the tools automating compensation changes.

• Conduct complex business analyses that identify opportunities to drive growth in our general creator population by extending learnings from BD teams within and across countries, in addition to deep dives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

    • Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
