KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Tax to join our Risk Management-Tax (“RM-Tax”) organization which is part of KPMG's Legal, Risk and Regulatory group.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with partners and engagement teams to provide Risk Management policy guidance and to resolve questions regarding the application of such policy

  • Assist Service Line Risk Management Partners with new engagement reviews and approvals

  • Lead and/or participate in periodic compliance activities to help ensure client engagement teams comply with Firm requirements

  • Contribute to the continued improvement of RM-Tax processes, materials, and tools

  • Lead and/or participate in various RM-Tax projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience in tax consulting and/or compliance, and/or risk management

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Progressive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of various levels; Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Hands-on, independent and accountable management style; capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects

  • Ability to travel when needed and to work in a time zone other than where physically located, if needed
