RBC Capital Markets seeks a Senior Low Latency Engineer in New York, NY to design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions. Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures. Partner with QSG, GE, GE Derivatives, CadETF and Canadian Hi-Touch business and technology teams to provide a high performant real time risk platform. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 7 years of progressively responsible experience or, in the alternative, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 3 years of experience. Experience must include leading cross functional team in delivering a multiyear transformational program, designing and building mission critical software applications with Python on Linux platform and C# on Windows platform, and experience in the following: C++ on Linux; KDB and SQL; equities, etfs, swaps, futures, corp. and treasury bonds.
