Hilton Senior Event Manager - New York Hilton Midtown in New York, New York

A Senior Event Experience Manager with Hilton New York Midtown is responsible for the successful execution of written sales agreements for large scale and complex full service meetings, conventions and events generally covering more than 300 cumulative room nights.

Set in Midtown Manhattan, this contemporary convention hotel is a 2-minute walk from The Museum of Modern Art and a 10-minute walk from Times Square.

All rooms offer sophisticated decor and custom-designed beds, plus marble bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and WiFi (fee). Executive rooms provide free WiFi and access to the Executive Lounge's free breakfast and evening appetizers. Suites add separate sitting areas.

Amenities include a buffet breakfast (surcharge), a modern restaurant and 3 chic bars, including a bar featuring ice sculptures. There's also a sky-lit fitness center, a business center and over 151,000 sq ft of flexible meeting space.

What will I be doing?

A Senior Event Experience Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of written sales & catering agreements for large-scale and complex full service meetings, conventions, and events as well as execution of all sized room blocks, catering events, and events as assigned. Maintains liaison between the customer and their representatives and the Hotel by directing each hotel department as to their specific role in the pre-planning and execution on-site. Maximizes revenues and controls expenses through effective negotiation of prices, services, upselling, and accurate forecasting. Responsible for direction of all catered events in partnership with Event Operations staff. Responsible for successful execution of event and customer satisfaction to ensure customer remains loyal and books future business with hotel/company. #LI-AT3
