Google Senior Director, UX, Google Cloud Data and Analytics in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 15 years of experience creating strategy and designing products.

  • 7 years of experience leading teams and experience managing managers.

  • Experience working with senior designers and executives in product management and engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience making key contributions to innovative, successful products.

  • Understanding of AI technologies.

  • Ability to create a culture that nurtures talented UX professionals, solves complex design problems, and delivers simple product solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, articulate positions, and advocate designs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $298,000-$428,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Drive a compelling product strategy for the BI and Data Analytics services working with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-Google UX teams.

  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps with cross-functional leadership and manage multiple complex schedules to on-time delivery.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship across a multi-disciplinary organization of interaction designers, researchers, visual designers, prototypers, writers, motion designers, and program managers.

  • Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with leaders across Data and Analytics to drive user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed.
