Job Title: Senior Director, Federal Grants

Reports To: Associate Chief

Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

As the Senior Director of Federal Grants, you will:

  • Lead federal grants management across all regions.

  • Secure and manage public funds.

  • Ensure compliance and align resources with strategic goals.

  • Manage a team and provide professional development.

  • Collaborate across departments to enhance financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of three regional staff.

  • Public Grants Strategy: Manage Title Budgets and Entitlement Funds across three states.

  • Grant Management: Oversee multi-year federal grants and ensure compliance.

  • Prospecting: Identify and assess new grant opportunities.

  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects to improve grant management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of public grants management experience.

  • Experience with Title grants in large school districts.

  • Proven success in managing and securing large grants.

  • Expertise in grant writing, project management, and data analysis.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Office 365 or Google Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
