Responsible for working with the Corporate Research group, who provide reporting, insights, & analysis across multiple systems, focused on story telling across the company portfolio. Partner with teams across company work through challenges around data unification and definitions. Tasked with helping to develop smart, efficient data products, to allow both internal and external teams easy access to data and insights. Manage multiple projects and collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure best in class projects are executed. Build and manage reports showing the health of key business metrics across platforms like desktop web, mobile web, mobile apps, connected over-the-top devices, and subscription video services. Utilize SQL to query multiple Snowflake tables in order to report the number of subscribers, churn rate, active subscription rate, and other streaming metrics for the Executive leadership team. Reviewing, designing, and developing reporting framework, visualizations, and dashboards (DOMO) pertaining to content performance, subscriber performance and product performance. Presenting insights, analyses, and recommendations in a narrative fashion tailored to any data customer up to and including executives. Lead, educate, and critique data preparation work from end-to-end. Research industry trends and communicate how these could potentially impact the business. Support Senior Leads in strategic and tactical decision-making and understanding the health of the business through Key Performance Indicators (KPI) / Objectives and Key Results (OKR). Responsible for continued refinement of KPIs and methodologies across all digital businesses, based on the current needs of the business and industry standards. Responsible for enhancing approach to automation and efficiency in reporting. Interacting with the broader BI team; helping to shape team processes, sharing insights, ideas and reports. Telecommuting permitted. Requirements: Master’s degree in information systems, computer science or related plus one (1) year of experience as Business Intelligence Analyst, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst or related. Must include one (1) year of experience with media industry in web/video analytics, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and 3rd-party syndicated audience measurement services (comScore/ Nielsen). Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Collaborative Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Charles Debugger, Gap Analysis, User Acceptance Testing, ETL and Data Tracking Specifications.
