Fogarty Finger Architecture PLLC Senior Architectural Designer in New York, New York

Idealize design concepts with Principal and develop 3D models for ground-up projects in mid and large scale; Help and train junior architectural designers to get familiar with working flow and standards at FFA; Participate in meetings with contractors/consultants and perform tasks such as documenting and writing minutes; Review drawings and sketches and red-lined with comments and required corrections; Assign tasks to junior architectural designers regarding construction documents and presentation; Research and prepare drawings and documents for zoning, energy and building code analysis; Participate in meetings with building department regarding new building filings under the supervision of Principal or Project Manager; Review and approve shop drawings to evaluate the application of a product and/or method(s) of construction; Use the following software: AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Enscape and Bluebeam.

Educational and experience requirements: Bachelor of Architecture + 3 years experience in any related professional architectural design occupations (such as Jr Arch Designer, Intermediate Arch Designer)
