JPMorgan Chase Risk Management - Market Risk Governance - Associate in New York, New York

As a Commercial Banking Market Risk Associate in Commercial Bank Risk Team, you will be supporting Commercial Bank Capital Markets Risk.

Job responsibilities

  • Support Commercial Real Estate Off-Balance Sheet Market Risk management & infrastructure implementation

  • Establish/ enhance market risk governance for CRE business - including limits management

  • Assist in development of new tools to support CRE market risk estimation and reporting

  • Support Commercial Bank wide capital initiatives to establish prudent risk management procedures

  • Support in identification and risk management of market risk exposures

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Working knowledge of US Fixed Income Markets covering CMBS and Agency CMBS.

  • Proficient in developing tools using Python, Excel, Tableau.

  • Prior risk experience in managing credit and market risk in sell side or buy side. Excellent understanding of risk measures and P&L drivers.

  • Self-starter with a desire to proactively drive the agenda and to lead discussions with the Front Office and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics/Modeling, or Economics preferred with 7+ years of experience.
