About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Revenue Operations Manager to join our team in the Software as a Service (SaaS) Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing business planning, project delivery updates, expense analysis, revenue review, and a range of strategic functions to optimize revenue operations within the organization. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Some of your time will also be dedicated to general Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Coordination:

  • Coordinate internal efforts between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams, facilitating collaboration on features, pricing, pipeline management, and revenue planning.

  • Manage and coordinate projects to ensure they address identified critical issues and align with revenue objectives.

  • Work cross-functionally with relevant departments to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for monthly business development meetings, highlighting key insights and strategic initiatives.

Targets and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain robust systems for monitoring and analyzing revenue performance metrics.

  • Regularly review revenue data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance revenue streams.

  • Set targets and facilitate reporting mechanisms for revenue planning, pipeline management, leads generation, and commission tracking.

Expense Analysis and Optimization:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of expenses related to revenue-generating activities.

  • Evaluate processes, programs, and systems to increase revenue, minimize costs, and improve customer satisfaction, addressing systemic root causes of chronically recurring problems.

CRM Practice and Training:

  • Oversee CRM practices, including training, maintenance, and reporting, serving as the 'CRM Master' within the organization.

Marketing and Sales Process Support:

  • Provide logistical support for marketing and sales processes, including RFP process support, scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining a comprehensive resource calendar.

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and provide sales enablement resources, including content creation, PowerPoint presentations, and ongoing support for the sales team.

Sales Quotes and Proposals:

  • Manage the creation, workflow, and quality assurance of sales quotes and proposals, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.

Client Onboarding Process Support:

  • Support the seamless transition of prospects to clients by facilitating an efficient client onboarding process.

General Operations:

Support Employee Onboarding and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Assist with new employee onboarding, ensuring they receive necessary internal resources to integrate into the team effectively.

  • Implement strategies to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Manage Internal Systems and IT:

  • Oversee the management and optimization of internal systems and IT infrastructure to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

  • Collaborate with IT vendors and internal stakeholders to address technical issues promptly and ensure smooth functioning of essential systems.

Support Leadership Communications, Presentations, Office Admin:

  • Assist in crafting and disseminating communications from leadership to the wider team, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of proven experience in revenue operations, business analysis, or a related field preferably within the SaaS or CPG industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and utilization of relevant tools (e.g., Excel, CRM software…).

  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities with a track record of successful project delivery.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and driving results.

  • Understanding of SaaS and CPG industry trends, best practices, and revenue generation strategies.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with SaaS platforms and their revenue models.

  • Certification in project management or relevant field.

  • Familiarity with customer acquisition strategies in the CPG sector.
