Plan and coordinate the front of house activities of all restaurants located within the company’s Financial District location. Determine staffing requirements, and oversee personnel processes, including hiring and firing personnel including hosts, waiters, bar staff and related personnel for all full service and quick service restaurants. Conduct and supervise training programs and staff meetings for all restaurant personnel, instructing staff on the unique aspects of the high-quality and authentic Italian, local and hand made products featured on each restaurant’s menu and ensuring such is communicated to customers. Assess staffing needs and prepare and oversee work schedules. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service. Oversee and evaluate staff and work procedures to ensure that quality and service standards are met. Ascertain that fire, health and safety guidelines and requirements are observed in keeping with local law and agency regulations regarding food preparation and serving. Estimate food and beverage consumption to purchase comestibles and kitchen supplies. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Count money and make bank deposits. Monitor budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. Salary: $101,130/yr. Position Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Floor Manager, Assistant Manager or a closely related. Related experience must include experience with the following: Management of personnel, including hiring, training, and firing; Management of banking and accounting functions; and, Management of both full-service and quick service Italian restaurant.
