The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The Sergievesky Center at the Columbia University Medical Center is currently seeking a part time Research Assistant to assist our team in an ongoing study of cognitive aging in women.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include: assisting with eligibility and recruitment, testing administration, and data entry/management in accordance with study protocols.
  • Work in a busy, multilingual clinic environment with physicians, medical assistants, and other research staff to identify and recruit eligible participants.
  • Administer protocol-related measures (in both English and Spanish), including a digital cognitive assessment and questionnaires.
  • Aid with blood collection and transportation for processing.
  • Complete forms, enter data into the database, retain quality data storage, and contribute to neuropsychological consensus and participant feedback reports.
  • Opportunity to participate in data analysis and manuscript preparation.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scheduling flexibility.
