Grow your career as a Regulatory Operations Manager with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Contract Duration: 5+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in regulatory management, internal audit, control management, compliance or a similar role within the financial services industry.

  • Basic knowledge of the regulatory engagement process (including understanding of U.S. prudential regulators) or internal audit experience.

  • Familiarity with control management and issue management.

  • Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint management experience.

  • Strong Microsoft skills.

  • Strong planning, organizational skills with attention to detail and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Financial services experience.

  • Regulatory/internal audit experience.

  • A general understanding of banking regulations and knowledge of the Services businesses.

  • Prior experience in project/program management.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Heavy logistics, log emails, get to right folks in services, respond to regulators. Set up meeting. Log items in repository tool, print copies, upload decks, create PowerPoint, setup SharePoint.

  • Support interactions with regulators and internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: the coordination and management of events related to examinations, ongoing supervisory meetings and requests for information for Services.

  • Assist in facilitating meetings, discussions and communications as well as preparing the business stakeholders for meetings with regulators.

  • Prepare reporting for senior management that provides regulatory trends, potential impacts and helps drive proactive regulatory engagement.

  • Perform quality reviews of information provided by the Services business to U.S. prudential regulators to drive consistency, completeness and timely submission.

  • Enter regulatory activities in the Firm's system of record (Regulatory Engagement Tracking - RET) and maintain the Services regulatory calendar.

  • Analyze, digest and summarize information/documentation responsive to regulatory requests.

  • Maintain the centralized repository where documents are stored and previous regulatory and supervisory findings, reports and similar documents.

  • Execute ad-hoc projects as well as additional duties, as assigned.
