Job Purpose

This role helps territories in the assigned region to meet their refrigerant gas acquisition goals by assisting with large, complex, and specialty recoveries and ensuring compliant and legal refrigerant recovery processes are followed. You are a subject matter expert on recoveries and will train and re-train- technicians and Field Service Managers as necessary to ensure overall safety and compliance.

This role will support the Southwest region and must be located near a major airport and a Network location within their region.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to network locations across the assigned region to be the Subject Matter Expert on large, complex, and specialty refrigerant gas recoveries.

  • Must be able to communicate and have the knowledge and ability to train field service technicians on EPA-compliant recoveries.

  • Ensure adherence to and provide training on Network Standards including but not limited to; EPA 608 refrigerant gas recovery standards, demonstrate a safety mindset and teach safe recovery practices, and advise on truck, equipment, and shop organization.

  • May assist or act as the Field Service Manager as needed when the Field Service Manager is unavailable. Duties include; visiting current customers and providing excellent customer service through attentive, high-quality regular interactions, scheduling field service technicians, completing electronic work orders, and updating the CRM with customer interactions.

  • Strong knowledge of the full suite of Rapid Recovery products and services; including service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales.

  • Ensure that all required data is entered into the company job order software and sales system.

  • Adhere to EPA and safety regulations.

  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

    Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • Natural mechanical ability

  • Good communication skills

  • Enjoy interacting with people

  • Excellent computer and data entry skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to secure a CDL-C/Hazmat

  • Ability to complete training and pass EPA testing

  • Must be 25 years of age or older with a clean driving record

  • This is a high travel position and must be able to travel 50% to 75%

  • Must be able to lift at least 75# and bend, stoop

  • Must be able to work flexible hours
