Job Summary

As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting deployment integration, quality assurance testing, conducting automated and manual tests to ensure software performs adequately and meets the user requirements.

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support deployment integration, quality assurance testing, conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software performs adequately and meets the user requirements. This position will be full-time and onsite.

What You’ll Do

  • Support deployment integration, quality assurance testing, conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software performs adequately and meets the user requirements

  • Understand the overall organizational landscape and technology and will plan, construct, and execute product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, penetration and network tests

  • Travel to sites assigned to within the 5 boroughs of NYC daily

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 2+ years of networking and experience in Genetec Security Center, Sipelia, Synergis, or another Video Management System

  • 2+ years of creating technical documentation

  • 2+ years of expertise in design, development, and creation of test plans and supporting test cases for computer systems and business applications based on business and functional requirements

  • 2+ years of ability to execute manual and automated test cases

  • Experience with Microsoft Test Manager /Microsoft Coded UI or other testing suites

Preferred:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or technical certification

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
