Summary:

Meta is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Product Data Operations (PDO) team. PDO provides data and insights that power machine learning and AI, at the core of all Meta products. As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of GenAI programs by providing leadership, strategic oversight, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure the efficient execution of GenAI initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that will shape the future of AI at Meta!

Required Skills:

Project Manager Product Data Operations Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and drive planning, execution, and delivery of GenAI programs to achieve strategic goals and milestones

  2. Collaborate closely with GenAI research, engineering, and product teams to align program objectives with broader organizational goals

  3. Develop and maintain program plans for a large team of FTE/CWs/Vendors and ensure projects are completed with urgency and to quality

  4. Identify program risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans. Proactively manage risks to ensure successful program delivery

  5. Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on program progress and KPIs

  6. Establish and maintain program quality standards. Implement processes to monitor and ensure the quality of program deliverables

  7. Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize program management methodologies and best practices

  8. Manage program budget & ensure efficient utilization of financial resources

  9. Lead and mentor other individuals on the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects

  2. Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and working with urgency

  3. Executive presence and effective communications skills

  4. Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience

  5. Proven team player adaptable to a fast-paced environment

  1. Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning technologies

  2. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs on time and within budget

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  5. Experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields is a plus

  6. Experience with SQL

Public Compensation:

$143,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
