Job Description
As a Project Manager, you'll lead projects and provide support for various initiatives and any associated media process transformation projects. You may be involved in multiple projects or initiatives, working across the whole project lifecycle, researching new projects, business process changes, configuration changes or system modifications. It includes a wide variety tasks allowing you to gain exposure and hands on experience in end to end Project Management across multiple business disciplines. You should have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong communication skills are required as this role will frequently be working with agency management stakeholders, cross team business leads, and vendors. Understanding the level of communication needed and the ability to tailor communication as needed is necessary.
Roles and Responsibilities
Works under general direction
Uses discretion in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments
Usually receives specific instructions and has work reviewed at frequent milestones
Determines when issues should be escalated to a higher level
Applies methodical approach to problem definition and resolution
Understands and uses appropriate methods, tools and applications
Demonstrates an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
Collaborate with cross functional project team members (ReSources, Pub Media, Groupe, vendor) and lead the creation of detailed project plan based on defined approach
Manage project activities across ReSources
Supports
Work with ReSources FP&A team to provide project budget and budget status
Define and prepare executive weekly status reporting, using fact based KPIs and escalated issues tracking
Coordinate and manage system functionality testing required by ReSources
Work with selected vendor and Pub Media on data migration strategy and plan
Coordinate work required by ReSources to perform data mapping between legacy and target system
Identify near-term workarounds required within ReSources and Pub Media and work with functional leads to manage and execute workarounds
Work with project team to define a business cutover/transition plan, including how we may need to work with two systems during transition period
Assist vendor with training and change management planning, and help ensure we have a successful strategy and plan, including post go-live support plan
Work with vendor to oversee training and change management execution
Qualifications
Background/Prerequisite
Media Operations Knowledge:
3-5 years of experience with Media operations and processes
Detailed understanding of Media financial processes and system functionality (invoice processing, reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, payment processing, billing)
Detailed understanding of best practice KPIs and media system reporting
System Implementation and Project Management :
5 years of Project Management
Detailed understanding of system implementation processes (RFP selection, requirements gathering, testing, data migration, training and change management)
Experience with project budget management, Clarity and/or Microsoft Project skills a plus
1 year managing team activities
Strong communication skills
Exposure to PMBOK methodologies
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products
