Overview

The Program Administrator will be responsible for overseeing programmatic, administrative, and co-curricular activities and communication, and will serve as the principal coordinator for the Center for Collaborative Indigenous Research with Communities and Lands (CIRCL) signature programs. Develop and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholder groups. Manage and communicate schedules, plans and deadlines, and work with the Center Director to determine objectives and activities. Oversee social media communications about Center activities.

Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:
2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience working with university students and administering academic programs and events.Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Indigenous Studies, experience working with Indigenous communities and/or students.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and communication skills. Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office software and Adobe Acrobat.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, and Canva.


Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $63,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
