Paramount Product Manager, Product Management, Paramount Advertising in New York, New York

Overview & Responsibilities

Paramount is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong Product Management skills to join our Advanced Advertising Group. The team comprises of highly driven, self-motivated individuals who collaborate closely to develop fully convergent media plans for our clients. We are responsible for the end-to-end campaign management including Predictive Models for forecasting, Pricing, Optimizations, Operations and Stewardship, Reporting and Attribution across all of Paramounts brands and platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling our current Advanced Advertising products from initial conception, design, development, and collecting feedback and tracking user adoption. The Product Manager will work with our data science and engineering teams along with our user groups across Paramount Advertising, and is responsible for maintaining product roadmaps, requirements, and moving the products forward in terms of features and functionality.

This role will report to the Director, Product Management, Paramount Advertising, and work on a hybrid schedule out of the New York Headquarters!

  • Partner with our different user groups including Planning, Reporting, Sales, Pricing and Inventory (P&I) and other teams to understand their business needs.

  • Responsible for sharing development updates to the partner teams.

  • Work closely with the data science and engineering teams to ensure that the technical teams collaborate and deeply understand business requirements.

  • Responsible for the product road map and working with the Advanced Advertising partners to get feedback on strategy and vision.

  • Foresee and resolve issues that affect development timeline.

  • Help drive adoption of products by introducing new products and features to our internal partners.

  • Develop deep knowledge of the Advanced Advertising Products and design and ideate solutions with the technical teams.

  • Act as a liaison between business owners and the Advanced Advertising Product development team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or an Analytics field, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in an advertising context

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written

  • Shown ability to develop product strategies and communicate recommendations to management

  • Ability and interest to partner with technical team to resolve problems

  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions, and break-down technical documentation provided by vendors and data partners

  • Knowledge of cloud and data warehouse technologies, and data analytics tools

  • Experience using agile methodologies and work with engineering teams across time-zones

  • Agile experience and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

  • SQL and Python knowledge

  • Experience with Product Analytics tools

  • Experience in linear and digital TV measurement and reporting tools

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 123,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
