Sony Music Entertainment seeks Product Design Manager in New York, New York to be responsible for validating designs, identifying constraints, and providing corrective actions. Lead a team of designers to provide product design solutions to meet cost-effectiveness and on-time deliveries. Organize and supervise the product design team by implementing process improvements in a product design setting and recommending new technologies and tools to optimize product design and development processes. Analyze and troubleshoot product design issues. Address team member grievances and provide support as needed. Coach and provide training to team members to improve technical skills. Build a positive and safe working environment for product design teams. Identify resource requirements and perform workload assignments to meet product design goals. Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, and termination activities. Help define and work with key performance indicators and metrics. Telecommuting permissible 2-3 days a week. 10% domestic and international travel required. Salary: $150,800 - $177,500/yr.
