Description Put your talents to the test as a Business Analyst in this challenging opportunity from Robert Half. You will be responsible for deploying your experience in business analysis with the Project Management team. In this role, you will assume a role in streamlining and improving internal and external reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis and key performance indicators. The Business Analyst role is located in New York, New York. Apply immediately! This position is offered as a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.

  • Help grow from startup to mature enterprise, which includes streamlining the planning processes and making sure finance compliance, accountability, and integrity is spread throughout the organization

  • Lead special projects and ad hoc analyses, including new initiatives, products, risks and opportunities that are consistently emerging

  • Aid in driving company innovations, pushing boundaries beyond conventional forecasting

  • Work alongside leadership to create financial forecasts and set performance benchmarks, applying business judgment and financial insights to making decisions that align capital and resource allocation to meet the company budget

  • Aid in driving requirements and implementation for financial planning and business intelligence systems

  • Report on financial results on a monthly and quarterly basis, informing the leadership team of trends, risks and opportunities

  • Handle financial and operational modeling, building models from scratch, improving existing models and breaking larger models into sub-components that ultimately consolidate for the organization to help drive sound business decisions Requirements - Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

  • CPA/MBA recommended, though applicants with a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics accepted

  • Proven leadership experience in the banking industry

  • Experience with Metric Reporting

  • Skills in Perform Ad Hoc Financial

  • Warehouse management experience required

  • Solid understanding of Partners

  • Practical knowledge of Workstation Support

  • Experience with operations

  • Proficiency in KPI Reporting

  • Foundational knowledge in supply chain management

  • Strong familiarity with reporting

  • Hands-on experience with Data Analysis

  • Solid understanding of Integration

  • Prior experience with Receipt

  • Well-founded grasp of Planning Processes

  • Proven knowledge of planning

  • Earlier work involving reconciliations

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Sales experience desired

  • Experience with authorizations

  • Wide ranging experience with logistics

  • Quality experience with auditing

  • Comprehension of productivity

  • General familiarity with Database

  • Good understanding of enterprise resource planning

  • Previous experience working with Merchandising

  • Documentation experience

  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • 10+ years related experience working with multiple stakeholders
