We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager with a strong background in banking and finance to lead complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering intricate projects with tight deadlines, regulatory oversight, and a focus on risk and control. Experience within the payments space is highly desirable, as this role will involve managing initiatives related to payment systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-profile projects within the banking and finance domain. Drive cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while adhering to strict timelines and quality standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Work closely with compliance teams to navigate regulatory challenges and implement robust risk and control frameworks.

  • Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure project success.

  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, regulatory agencies, and industry partners. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to ensure alignment and support.

  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, resources, and financials effectively to optimize project outcomes and deliver value to the organization. Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

  • Continuous Improvement : Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the project management function. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and leverage best practices to drive project excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.

  • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.

  • Extensive experience in program management within the banking and finance industry, with a focus on delivering complex projects with regulatory oversight.

  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects within the payments space, including payment systems, processing, and services.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
