Description:Hudson River Trading LLC seeks a Network Security Engineer to be responsible for: Deploy and maintain network security perimeters and products, and manage the full optimization lifecycle to drive secure network strategy. Build, manage, and monitor the secure network for global trading and research infrastructure. Design, test, and configure IPSec and SSL VPNs. Decode and analyze network data utilizing tools such as tcdump and Wireshark. Troubleshoot network issues, including Ethernet and LAN issues, office Wi-Fi, routing, switching, VPN remote access, and resolving connectivity issues while working directly with end users. Monitor and analyze network performance and reports on data input or output to detect problems, identify inefficient use of technical resources, or perform capacity planning. Analyze current systems, conduct testing, and debug and troubleshoot problems within network hardware, software, servers and server operation systems.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or as Team Lead (PreSales), Senior Network Security Consultant or related experience. All required experience must have included: Experience implementing Remote Access control methods using different VPN technologies, including SSL, IPSEC, PPTP and L2TP, Juniper VPNs, Site-to-Site VPNs and Juniper SSL VPNs, with strong authentication using RSA secure IDs. Experience facilitating, designing, implementing and troubleshooting for host network-based IDS/IPS systems including SNORT. Experience developing and advancing enterprise End Point Security technologies including Personal Firewall, Anti-Virus, Disk Encryption, Data Loss Protection, System Hardening and Host-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention. Experience participating in beta testing for new firmware, test patches and hot fixes in a controlled lab environment.
