Meta Media Marketplace Manager in New York, New York

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Media Marketplace Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing media vendor relationships, ensuring that all partnerships align with the company's overall marketing strategy and goals. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and partnerships, to identify opportunities for growth and maximize the value of our publisher relationships. Additionally, you will be required to provide formal marketplace updates to the Global Media team and marketing leadership, at the executive level, on the status of these relationships and the impact they have on the business.

Required Skills:

Media Marketplace Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media vendors at various levels, ensuring open lines of communication and a deep understanding of their offerings and capabilities.

  2. Design engagement model, prioritization, agency accountabilities and overall approach to engaging media vendors to improve media performance.

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimize media investments across different channels and platforms.

  4. Monitor and analyze media performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of existing partnerships and identify areas for improvement or optimization.

  5. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to marketing leadership and stakeholders based on industry trends, market insights, and vendor performance.

  6. Coordinate and lead regular check-ins with media vendors to review performance, address concerns, and align on upcoming initiatives.

  7. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, including new technologies, emerging platforms, and changes in consumer behavior.

  8. Prepare and present quarterly updates to internal media team, agency, marketing leadership, detailing the status of media vendor relationships, key achievements, challenges, and future plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10 + years proven experience managing media vendor relationships at the executive level, with a track record of delivering positive business results.

  2. Effective negotiation and communication skills, with the knowledge to influence key stakeholders and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  3. Proven knowledge of the media landscape, including traditional and digital media channels, platforms, and emerging trends.

  4. Experience at or with media agency partners

  5. Proven track record in identifying green space and enabling innovation within media.

  6. Experience in executing sponsorship, integrations, and/or IP deals

  7. Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple data sources to extract actionable insights that drive business decisions

  8. Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the knowledge to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  9. Proven leadership qualities and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.

  10. Effective problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Public Compensation:

$150,000/year to $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
