The Walt Disney Company Marketing Operations Manager - IAP Partner Connectivity in New York, New York

The Marketing Operations Manager holistically oversees our in-app purchaser (IAP) and partner enablement and closely partners with Commerce, Partner Marketing, Data Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Product teams to leverage app store user messagings and marketer tools within our broader capabilities ecosystem to ensure a holistic user experience. A successful Marketing Operations Manager maximizes our capabilities while balancing the needs of users and internal stakeholders using a measured approach.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive data and functional requirements definition to enable app store messaging capabilities

  • Manage documentation of current capabilities and ensure alignment of future app store capabilities

  • Manage data pipe(s) throughput monitoring between app stores and our marketing platforms, including mitigation plans

  • Define opportunities to optimize our capabilities and/or user/system testing

  • Leverage or define taxonomies to enable performance measurement or user workflow organization

  • Perform data extraction (e.g. attribute, list) or ingestion processes to our marketing platforms

  • Assist with in-platform scripting to leverage data

  • Ensure compliance of GDPR, COPPA and other regulatory requirements

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years in product, marketing or data driving platform implementations, optimization and insights

  • Experience with app stores (e.g. iTunes Connect, Google Play Store) and capabilities

  • User and/or technical documentation

  • Attention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and implement remedies

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python to complete data extractions/ingestions and articulate more complex ETL requirements to technical teams

  • Passion for velocity, enabling the team to scale through superior project management

  • Analytic orientation and curiosity, using insights to drive your next course of action

  • Experience supporting a large stakeholder team (we're global and distributed)

  • Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed user expectations and enable marketers

  • Thrives in ownership, with the ability to influence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scripting (e.g. AMPscript, Liquid)

  • CIPT / CIPM / CIPP (IAPP)

  • Statistical analysis

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Localytics

Required Education :

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
