This Opportunity

WSP is searching for a Senior Marketing Coordinator for our New York, NY office.

As part of our Strategic Growth Team, you will be involved in the strategies, accounts, and pursuits that fuel our growth and allow WSP to be part of projects that design the future.

Your Impact

  • Developing exceptional proposals and responses to solicitations that highlight and emphasize the differentiators associated with our approach and strategy for specific opportunities

  • Working with the pursuit team to develop original content for inclusion in the proposal or response to solicitation including cover letters, executive summaries and graphics development

  • Supporting pre-positioning activities, including capture planning, strategy development, competitor analysis, teaming arrangements, and client mapping as a key member of a team that includes a pursuit manager, area management, technical staff, subconsultants, and, in some cases, senior management

  • Updating the marketing information database to reflect changes to pursuit status (e.g., solicitation dates or solicitation values)

  • Participating in meetings associated with pre-RFP activities and leading meetings associated with the preparation of responses to solicitations

  • Soliciting comments from internal reviewers (legal and compliance departments, area management, and operations personnel) and coordinating the inclusion of these comments in the final deliverables

  • Supporting presentation development and interview prep sessions

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, English, Marketing, Planning, or a related field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is also acceptable

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing in the A/E, professional services, or related industry

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on persuasive writing/editing and presentation development ability

  • Proven success as proposal manager – experience overseeing, coordinating, and performing all aspects of production, including strategy and messaging, graphics, technical teams, and production

  • Ability to produce high quality materials under deadline pressure

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (high proficiency in InDesign a plus) and Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong writing, editing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • We are looking for energetic, motivated, and organized candidates with advanced written and verbal communication skills, and strong critical thinking

  • Simultaneously coordinate multiple pursuits at various stages of development

  • We need someone who is able to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams with limited to no supervision

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $47,500 - $81,510

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
