Role Purpose

The Manager of Internal Communications will support employee-focused communications initiatives across NBCUniversal and serve as a key member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term planning. The candidate must have experience in internal communications, either in-house or agency, and a track record of deploying successful employee engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will be a creative, motivated self-starter with incredible attention to detail, appreciation for data, a team-focused attitude, and a solutions-oriented approach. Strong writing, analytical, research, evaluation and presentation skills are key.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for maintaining all internal communications channels including newsletters, intranet and digital screens

  • Draft internal communications, including talking points, company-wide communications, intranet articles, and newsletters

  • Oversee myPerks and company discounts

  • Support experiential activities in partnership with Hospitality and Corporate Events for employees, including events, screenings, lunch and learns and other activities

  • Support leadership and employee events including town halls, leadership meetings, employee screenings and other special programming

  • Monitor trends and apply insights to internal communications plans

  • Partner with HR to promote a positive employee experience by integrating diversity, equity and inclusion priorities, as well as wellness and recognition programs, into internal communications cadence

  • Identify opportunities to create synergy across NBCU divisions and Comcast through HR, marketing, publicity and symphony

  • Maintain strategic internal communications tracking documents

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of relevant experience 

Desired Characteristics

  • Fluency in Microsoft 360, including SharePoint, preferred

  • Familiarity with My Emma, Canva and AppSpace preferred

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time

  • Creative thinker with the ability to implement ideas

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to keep track of multiple workflow calendars required to meet deadlines

     

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $95,000 - $125,000 (bonus eligible).
