Description

As the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordination with internal and external auditors. You will work closely with finance and accounting teams to gather necessary data and ensure that financial reports are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other relevant accounting standards. Additionally, you will be involved in financial analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or other applicable accounting standards.

  • Coordinate the financial reporting process, including gathering necessary data from various departments, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews of financial statements and related disclosures.

  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and assess their impact on financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.

  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.

  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
