- Salary Range: $38.24 - $47.80 per hour
Position Summary
Performs daily refrigeration engineer assignments as required by maintenance and/or job order, by sketch, blueprint, illustration or supervisor's oral directions in operation, preventive maintenance and repairs to refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation systems and auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities
- Applicant shall be proficient in employment of all tools, methods, and instrumentation or HVAC systems, steam generators (boilers) and associated systems.
- Shall be able to read blueprints, schematics, and controls diagrams and be able to work safely, independently and reliably from verbal or written instructions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school/trade school graduate and/or its equivalent.
- A valid NYC refrigeration system operator's certificate or qualification is required and must remain posted on premises.
- Must have satisfactorily completed in controls.
- Five (5) years' licensed refrigeration engineer or as a mechanic A or machinist A.
- Demonstrated training and experience equivalent to educational requirements.
