CompuCom Level 1 Asset Technician in New York, New York

We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Level 1 Asset Technician to join our client's team onsite at New York, NY. This role is primarily in the scope of asset management. The ideal candidate will create asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines that can be distributed to the greater team.

In this role, this resource will be accounting for over 10,000 assets, while following 8 different SLAs. This technician will take ownership of processes and be accountable for a high volume of assets that move frequently.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on technical knowledge of laptop and desktops, asset management

  • Experienced in managing digital assets for organizations producing a large volume of work

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • ServiceNow or ISTM tool experience is highly desired

  • A+ Certification is a plus

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT support field

  • Able to lift heavy equipment. (PC's, monitors, printers.)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Internet browsers and Email clients

  • Must be extremely organized

  • Must be detail-oriented, and able to communicate with various business units

This candidate will need to go through the client background check process which requires fingerprinting.

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
