Jr Project Manager (part time)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time Jr Project Manager (20 hours per week) to join our team. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for overseeing new employee systems training and ensuring proper removal of employees from systems during offboarding processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to system management.

Schedule: The Jr Project Manager will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed. Will need to be available for work on Thursdays and Fridays, as these days are pivotal to the operation. Additionally, flexibility to provide assistance on short notice is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training sessions for new employees on the use of company systems and software.

  • Develop training materials, guides, and documentation to facilitate the onboarding process.

  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to employees with system-related inquiries or issues.

  • Collaborate with IT and HR departments to streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.

  • Manage user accounts and access permissions in various systems and applications.

  • Monitor system usage and performance to identify areas for improvement or optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding system access and data security.

  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of user accounts and permissions.

  • Initiate offboarding procedures for departing employees including disabling accounts, revoking access permissions, and transferring data as necessary.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and access controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.

  • Strong technical proficiency with various operating systems, network infrastructure, and software applications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.

  • Experience with training or instructional design preferred.

  • Knowledge of HR processes and procedures related to employee onboarding and offboarding preferred.

Note: This role will adhere to our hybrid work model.

Salary Range: $20/hr – $33/hr
