TEKsystems IT Support Specialist in New York, New York

Description:

1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East is looking for a helpdesk technician that will be providing phone, remote and deskside support on a 6 month+ contract. The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, imaging, supporting and maintaining end-user desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iPhones and iPads), printers, etc. They will be responsible for troubleshooting desktop OS, software and applications including Windows 10, O365 (including OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint), MAC OS (about 40 users), basic Active Directory (password resets), and network connectivity issues. They should have experience troubleshooting printer connectivity, registering and configuring users' mobile devices with AirWatch, and updating tickets in a ticket management system (they are using ServiceDesk). They are using Dameware and GoToAssist for remoting into users machines. Any experience with creating images would be a plus (they use WDS - Windows Deployment Services). The majority of this support will be provided over the phone or remoting into users machines, with some support at the users desk since this team does all levels.

This individual will be supporting close to 400 local NYC users and 850 total users across various locations including Buffalo, Syracuse, Boston, Florida, LI, NJ, Baltimore. This analyst will part of a 6-man helpdesk team (3 in NYC).
