FOX Information Graphics Writer in New York, New York

Fox News is looking for an Information Graphics Writer to join our New York Bureau. As the Information Graphics Writer, you will work with researchers and producers to handle the writing and insertion of lower thirds and other information oriented graphics. Your strong knowledge of current events and keen interest in politics and public affairs will allow to excel in this role.

A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities

-Research daily news stories
-Provide compelling information, presented in a succinct fair and balanced format
-Write press conference quotes for daytime programming

What You Will Need

-1 year of experience or strong internships in a professional live news environment
-Excellent communication and strong writing skills
-Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines
-Ability to work seamlessly in a team atmosphere
-Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including regular weekend hours
-Detail oriented nature, paying close attention to spelling, grammar, and syntax
-Ability to write in a concise, conversational and colorful style at an extremely fast pace
-A strong knowledge of current events, a keen interest in politics & public affairs, and solid news judgment
-Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment where your work gets national exposure on a daily basis
-Knowledge of iNews, Viz, and Deko is a plus
