Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity (potential to hire) for a Help Desk Analyst II in the education industry, located in New York. The role involves providing technical support in a predominantly Mac OS environment, using a variety of software and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Offer technical assistance to users operating within a 99% Mac OS environment

• Utilize Citrix Technologies for remote access and server software solutions

• Maintain and troubleshoot Database systems as required

• Operate EO/IR systems for data collection and analysis

• Use Lotus Notes for email communication and scheduling

• Apply knowledge of Microsoft software to assist users

• Manage Active Directory to control network access

• Handle Computer Hardware issues, including setup and configuration

• Undertake Configuration Management to ensure system security and efficiency

• Provide Deskside Support for immediate troubleshooting

• Oversee Desktop Hardware management, including setup and maintenance.

Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, and Mac OS.

• Relevant experience in an education industry setting is desirable.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on one's feet.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of individuals at different technical skill levels.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts and operating systems.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if required.
