How you'll make an impact:

The Graphis Designer, App will be responsible for delivering a high volume of graphic assets used across tiles in SiriusXM's next generation app to merchandise shows and episodes from across our music, talk and sports groups. This role will source guest/topic/thematic imagery and create tiles within existing design templates as well as serve as a liaison with the Creative Labs team on opportunities requiring larger, more complex design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in graphic design and possess a high attention to detail with photo and graphic design work used in app merchandising.

What you'll do:

  • Create and deliver high quality app tile designs across our music, sports, talk, and podcast verticals, along with ideas around content presentation that consider cross functional requirements in a fast paced environment
  • You'll become an expert and go to resource in our various asset types and app destinations, performing daily quality checks to ensure optimal user experiences across our streaming platforms and actively contributing to the evolution of our digital visual identity
  • You'll present work along with your design rationale, process and decisions while welcoming and iterating on team and stakeholder feedback and collaborate with various other departments to understand our listeners and collect the data needed to make design decisions.
  • On the project management side, you'll assist in maintaining the organization of content in our CMS and digital assets in our DAM system, tracking requests and working with coordinators to understand and prioritize deliverables

What you'll need:

  • 2 + years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success on web and mobile platforms, experience working with a variety of project types
  • BA in Graphic Design or related field preferred
  • Impeccable attention to detail and quality
  • Strong interest in music, talk & entertainment, or sports, and well versed with DSP landscape
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under shifting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexibility to support occasional off business hours
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Sketch, Figma, and/or other relevant design tools
  • Experience with CMS and DAM Systems and taxonomic organization of information
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Monday.com, Slack, G Suite, and Google Docs
  • Knowledge of standards and best practices for digital media formats and descriptive metadata
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $58,000 to $75,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
