KREWE is hiring our New York Flagship General Manager for our Maison du Krewe in the Meatpacking District. This is a unique opportunity to represent our brand on a global scale by providing world-class “in-person” customer experiences through a one-of-a-kind shopping experience reflective of KREWE’s spirit of hospitality and creativity. You will act as a KREWE ambassador and host of the store by providing leadership to your team and continuously raising the bar for exceptional customer experiences and the delivery of impeccable brand standards. In this role you will be responsible for consistently achieving sales & profitability goals, operational objectives, merchandising standards and developing a highly successful team that will be motivated to grow, contribute and advance with KREWE.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Business Leader
Develop and execute the brand's retail strategies including exceptional customer experiences, client relations management, employee performance, and community connectivity increasing the brand awareness, driving traffic into the store, and broadening and developing the clientele base
Successfully leads community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand awareness
Build robust store events strategy to drive brand awareness in the market, increase traffic to store, and generate incremental revenue
Manage and deliver P&L financial expectations in all categories (products, events, expenses)
Aware of business trends that relate to the success of the store and brand
Make informed recommendations for store opportunities that will lead to increased sales, attract incremental traffic and further enhance customer relationships and the overall in-store experience
Demonstrate strong business acumen through KPI’s to develop and support business driving strategies
Lead team by leveraging company tools, incentives & strategies to support meeting sales goals
Identify and communicate individual and team training needs
Community Engagement + Events Leader
Lead local grassroots marketing efforts that will increase brand awareness, drive traffic to stores, and generate incremental revenue
Strengthen local relationship and brand recognition through ongoing Community Engagement programming
Actively pitch and promote &Holiday both as part of the Maison du KREWE experience and as a unique brand
Lead store team to source and compile market partners and brand activation opportunities
Ensure all in store/offsite partners and events are inline with brand standards
Ensure all relevant event and activation supplies and resources are delivered on time, including creative assets, product, and branded packaging
Partner closely with DOS, marketing and PR to ensure a cohesive brand experience, look and feel depending upon the market and objective of the event
Lead in store and offsite events through every step of the process including conceptualization, execution, and tracking/reporting results
People Leader
Recruits and hires superior talent with experience in a luxury service environment
Facilitate new hire onboarding, and on-going training for existing staff members
Ensure that the sales team genuinely exudes KREWE’s unique customer experience
Creates an environment that encourages the development of managers and associates
Consistently drive and motivate the store team utilizing company performance tools to evaluate, achieve and exceed individual sales goals and store KPIs (Conversion, Average Sales, UPT, Lens Revenue %, etc.)
Ensure that the store team are experts in product knowledge, fit, styling and giving them the tools to be incomparable sales and service professionals
Operations Leader
Manage headcount and payroll objectives for the store staff
Implement tactics to manage and maintain an effective P&L strategy
Plan for future business needs to continually improve business results
Ensure the staff's adherence to all store standards (cleanliness, maintenance, replenishment etc.) on selling floor and back of house
Maintain visual merchandising standards and directives ensuring they are consistently upheld by the store team
Supervise inventory management to ensure store shrink is at or below company target
Complete all required daily and weekly reporting as requested
Ensure that all transfers, consolidations, pricing, shipping/receiving are done in compliance with all company policies and procedures
Make well-versed recommendations to help improve the company's operational systems and processes
Business Partner
Identify opportunities in product, sales, and team development and strategically present ideas and solutions to corporate
Satisfactorily resolve all customer issues and/or complaints in a timely manner
Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to support organizational goals
Communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels in the organization, including the executive team
Partner with field and corporate leaders to establish effective in-season long term strategies aligned with company initiatives
Demonstrate an ability to navigate the organization with a balance of business need and brand culture
Conduct regular store meetings (i.e., morning, weekly, monthly, etc.) to motivate the team, and communicate brand activities and initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years experience in retail sales and management; community engagement and events, luxury, hospitality and flagship experience preferred
Strong financial acumen including advanced retail math knowledge; ability to translate monthly sales goals into daily, weekly goals
Born leader with a strong work ethic
Keen understanding of all aspects of store operations
Thrives in a goal-oriented working environment
Proven history of exceeding expectations time and again
A knack for conversation and always presenting products in their best light
Passion for providing a unique customer experience
Intuitive when it comes to meeting customer demands
Self-sufficiency at organizing and managing multiple clients simultaneously
Ability to remain flexible throughout a collaborative retail experience
Someone who shares our inquisitive nature, affinity for fashion and design, self-motivated, and good-work-requires-having-fun mentality
Advanced knowledge of fashion trends and a keen interest in eyewear
Optical experience is a plus

We offer competitive salaries commensurate with experience; the annual range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000.
