Stash Financial, Inc. Engineering Manager in New York, New York

Lead the software engineering team to develop reliable and scalable software for mobile application; manage engineering team to restructure and redesign tools and features; oversee data deployment in our mobile application to our cloud-based infrastructure, and the design and implementation of backend systems; review software coding, trouble-shoot, and test; remove roadblocks for engineering team and ensure effective technology solutions are implemented for software and/or back-end system failures; establish expectations for team members, solicit, synthesize, and deliver feedback, and motivate engineering team to deliver the most important work; and partner with product and marketing team to understand business needs and ensure that those needs are translated into technical solutions and conceptualize new analytics features.

Must have Masters Degree in Computer Science, or related, plus three years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Engineering Director for software, plus 3 years using REST API's, AWS technology stack, Javascript, PostgreSQL, source software Git, and JIRA for agile workflow.
