We specialize in analysis, design, evaluation, monitoring, and rehabilitation for a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects and private clients. We offer a wide range of expertise to support client needs for both new and existing transportation infrastructure. The Role We have an opportunity for an Engineer Intern for our Transportation Practice. Responsibilities - Responsible for structural analysis, design, load ratings, quantity estimating, and drafting/detailing of bridge and infrastructure elements - Coordination of work under the supervision of in-house staff - Field site visits and inspections - Preparation of drawings, specifications, and contract documents Requirements - Undergraduate or graduate student in civil or structural engineering - Excellent academic record - Experience in AutoCAD is helpful but not required; familiarity with BIM is a plus. Compensation The rate for this position generally is$18-$25hourly.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byNew YorkEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
