DUTIES: Work closely with the project and technical management leadership to deploy the execution of the rail transit system program by applying theory, knowledge and experience in the management, analysis and design, and effectively supervising the work of transit system staff professionals and technicians during the project to complete the project documents/plans/analysis on schedule. Review of all technical and functional requirements for rail transit system and analyzed the design compliance with safety requirements and safety principles. Review the project technical documents, check the rail transit system factory and field test result, witness software release and regression test, and monitor the system integration and deployment implementation are also part of the job responsibilities. Analyze the various signal (traditional and advanced Communication Based Train Control) system log to evaluate the system performance, identify the root cause of system operation issues and provide technical solution suggestion to the client. Telecommuting is allowed.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 180 months of work experience in System Integration, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related occupation.SPECIFIC SKILLS: Special Skills or Other Requirements:Expertise/ knowledge of: Rail Transit Systems; Design the rail transit signaling control system by applying theory, knowledge and safety concept; Investigate system software, hardware, and revenue service problems based on incident report to guide the corrective action; Manage filed integration practice to guide the system testing and commissioning activity; Perform system safety hazard analysis, risk mitigation investigation and design compliance with safety principles; Review system test plan, test procedure, and datasheet to monitor the implementation to meet the functional specification.
