Directors, Transaction Services Sales with ING Financial Services, LLC in New York, NY. Work with ING’s Transaction Services (‘TS’) division which operates globally with daily banking related products. Help further build ING’s position in TS with a particular focus on the working capital related solutions (approved payables and receivables). Market and originate TS mandates within the target client group. Represent ING at client pitches where Trade opportunities are identified and discussed. Work together with the New York based relationship bankers, as well as the ING network to develop Trade solutions for the target clients. The transactions will be approved and booked in Amsterdam/Brussels/Dublin. Develop a strong pipeline of leads and deal flow of Trade business. Enhance global and regional cross-sell of products. Expand the use of Trade solutions, including use of insurance to mitigate risk where appropriate. Support our originate to distribute model as well as building the trade book on both primary and secondary market. Develop and maintain long term corporate client relationships. Leverage ING’s existing strong TS position in Europe to support the development of a strategy for expanding ING’s Trade franchise in the US. Act as sounding board and support for relationship teams for Trade matters and developments. Actively deliver against clear financial and activity-based targets. Maintain high standards in engagements with all stakeholders. Work within the regulatory rules and limitations applicable for the ING Rep Office in New York. Domestic and international travel approx. up to 30% of time. Salary range: $227,000 - $242,000. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field and 3 years of (or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent as stated above and 5 years of) experience in any occupation in banking treasury and trade solutions. Experience must include: corporate client facing experience; working with corporate banking treasury products; originating, structuring, and executing complex supply chain finance/payables finance transactions; performing as deal principal for all stages of deal execution; pitching and selling working capital financing solutions; interacting with borrowers, legal advisors, bank syndicates, and internal departments as part of deal execution; and managing client on boarding and global client relationships.
