Position Summary

Reporting into the Global Head of Product Integration, the Director, Product Manager, Core role is designed for an exceptionally self-motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to work well as a team. We are searching for a PM with a proven track record of enabling cross-functional teams to build end to end (E2E) capabilities that connect product functionalities in the campaign lifecycle into an intuitive, collaborative and cohesive platform. You will need to understand the E2E client lifecycle at IPG Mediabrands and be ruthlessly user-focused while ideating, defining and delivering against the vision. You have excellent communication, project management, business analysis, approach situations with a win-win stance, and you are a great critical thinker. You will work with cross-functional teams of engineering, design, marketing, and other product teams to develop an operational platform for some of the world's largest marketers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition of a product vision and communicate its narrative through short-term and long-term roadmaps
  • Serve as subject matter expert and thought leader on connected AdTech/MarTech platforms
  • Drive innovation through the identification of unmet industry needs and disruption opportunities
  • Synthesize research from agency users, marketing partners, and leadership to balance big ideas with day to day feature requests
  • Lead a globally distributed and matrixed scrum team, including a product owner
  • Partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across the organization to solicit ideas, influence strategy and generate buy-in to proposed actions, while maintaining an objective position
  • Partner with product marketing to bring to product features to market and inspire stakeholders and collaborators across the organization to become the solutions users can't live without
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success/failure
  • Encourage a data-driven, agile culture as a role model and influencer
  • Manage your scrum team towards a healthy balance of innovation, technical debt reduction, and day to day maintenance and support

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience leading/managing agile product development as product owner/manager, or business analyst for a minimum 6+ years
  • Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset, focused on an delivering an intuitive UX
  • Experience in ad tech or marketing industry; bonus if worked on platform/e2e focused features
  • Experience managing products through the full life cycle: strategy, development, launch, optimization, sunset
  • Keen ability to develop and nurture stakeholder relationships and manage requests
  • Experience in leading / driving a software development team, influencing and motivate team members without direct authority
  • Identifying and prioritizing opportunities in strategic and tactical contexts
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership, with superior organization and communication skills (written/oral)
  • Self-driven, motivated, and purpose-led individual
  • People management experience, mentoring and growing teams
  • Experience handling multiple complex projects
  • Experience leading difficult conversations of productive outcomes
  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple offices and time zones

Salary Range
$160,000-$190,000 USD
