Director (Global Banking Americas Transversal Business Management) for BNP Paribas in New York, NY, to manage several direct reports in the Global Banking Americas Business Management team within the COO organization, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategy of Global Banking Americas. Coordinate all strategy and business topics for Global Banking Americas with business management teams across EMEA and APAC Global Banking, Global Markets Americas, and CIB Americas, including developing a consolidated view of long-term strategic vision and annual budget process for Global Banking business lines (which include: Investment Grade Finance, Leveraged Finance, Asset Finance and Securitizations, ECM, M&A, and Transaction Banking). Will collaborate with members of the C-Suite of Global Banking Management with a focus on strategic planning and execution plans, as well as day-to-day operational management. Will act as a key point of contact with the Head Office Senior Management office to implement guidelines in The Americas region and coordinate global initiatives, including the implantation of the IB for Future platform in The Americas, market data planning, strategic hiring, and real estate planning. Will identify, sponsor, lead, and contribute to business projects for Global Banking Americas, providing frequent and accurate performance updates for management (including weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue, cost, and headcount forecasts). Will allocate and supervise the management of projects in Global Banking in close partnership with front office teams, support functions, and counterparts in the EMEA and APAC regions. Will ensure efficient governance and communication frameworks for the business management team. Will be responsible for hiring, training, evaluation, promotion, and compensation processes for team members. Requires: Master's degree in Finance, Investment Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience in as a Director - Head of Global Banking Americas Transversal Business Management or related occupation working with debt products, including international bonds and loans, within an international financial services institution. or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Finance, Investment Management, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Director - Head of Global Banking Americas Transversal Business Management or related occupation working with debt products, including international bonds and loans, within an international financial services institution. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) with Investment Banking and Capital Markets Products, including Bonds and Loan Markets; (DE) leading budgeting efforts, including the preparation of figures and presentations to senior management; (DE) leveraging Tableau to produce complex data analysis, dynamic dashboards, and strategic presentations for senior stakeholders; (DE) managing head count and costs for the entire business, including tracking, presentation, coordination with management, and functions to guide decisions; and (DE) with Front Office functions (HR, Operations, IT, Finance, Regulatory Framework, Procurement, Premises, Controls and Conduct Office, Legal, and Compliance).
