Looking for Director of DSD Operations and Sales Execution based in the Metro New York/New Jersey area, to lead the Sales and Distribution team and develop sales strategies, in accordance with company guidelines, that generate an increase of sales and market share, seeking opportunities to expand the Wise Portfolio of products.

You'll lead sales for third party distributors to increase market share and sales for Wise branded and affiliated products.

  • Reaching of sales volume and business profit goals for the position's assigned customers.

  • Motivates sales staff by exhibiting leadership and a strategy for growth at their assigned customers.

  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results with key performance indicators for each position; including coaching, customer management skills and timely decision making.

  • Sales and distribution growth of all Wise products to all assigned customers and segments.

  • Provides communication to the company regarding industry, market and customer developments and recommends actions to improve company's position.

    You'll oversee Sales Distribution to achieve market share goals and regional sales budgets.

  • Identify and execute "Best in Class" merchandising standards to maximize the sales potential through increased revenue and gross profit for Wise Food Inc.

  • Develop Distributor specific programs to increase market share.

  • Ensure barriers are removed to allow the field teams to aggressively grow revenues, profit and share by proactively identifying strategic, long term growth and profit opportunities for the region.

    You'll manage sales and marketing budgets and programs that achieve the goals of Wise Food, Inc., our customers.

  • Strategically direct the annual sales budget and ensure adherence to quarterly and annual sales goals.

  • Execute, implement, and share short and long range sales goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures with the Sales Distribution team.

  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance sales operations and market execution.

  • Collaborate with cross functional department managers and corporate staff to develop five year and ten year business plans.

  • Implement and execute market specific sales and marketing plans within the assigned territory.

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.

  • At least 5 years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience

  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team

  • Experience developing profitable long range business plans.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Word/Excel/Outlook)

  • Strong business acumen, out of the box thinker, self-starter and active listening skills.

  • Willing to travel 20% of the time.
