Serve as a Data Science lead for key clients, overseeing all day-to-day data and analytics deliverables. Serve as the key point of contact for key clients on all things concerning marketing science, machine learning and automation. Drive business performance and potential by using existent and new data sources, techniques, and automation solutions. Manage and prioritize the business’s overall analytical needs and opportunities. Define the business questions that need be answered, identify appropriate analytical solutions, and identify and ready relevant data sources for analysis. Manage and develop staff in learning best practices and improving speed and accuracy of modeling deliverables. Partner with client internal analytical teams to work towards common business outcomes, providing and asking for support proactively when necessary. Regularly attend client meetings and actively participate in the preparation and presentation. Actively engage with clients and play a leading role with regard to the collection, manipulation and analysis of data across various business lines and departments such as investment, strategy and digital audience planning. Create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualization, and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner. Play a key role in development and application of predictive algorithms, solutions and methods where possible with a view of driving and enhancing performance and streamlining business processes. Ensure the most appropriate automation solutions, internal and external, are evaluated, implemented, and streamlined where necessary, to ensure business efficiency and enable cross-departmental engagement. Participate in joint brainstorming and team collaboration across different internal teams (such as strategy, investment and creative) and externally with clients. Work closely with central agency analytics team in establishing departmental goals and strategies, as well as collaborates with numerous departments across the business, aiding them in the proper use of data and analytics outputs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Information Technology Management or a related field, plus 6 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title at a media agency or marketing analytics firm.In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Information Technology Management or a related field, plus 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, Business Intelligence Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title at a media agency or marketing analytics firm. Must also have the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience participating in scrums, retrospectives, and working within a Git workflow; 3 years of professional experience utilizing SQL and programming language including Python or R; 3 years of professional experience performing econometric analysis; 3 years of professional experience with database design, data modeling and ETL process; 3 years of professional experience evaluating model efficacy in support of machine learning; 3 years of professional experience leading innovation for clients and internal stakeholders using data, technology, and applied statistics; 3 years of professional experience utilizing marketing technology (including Data Management Platforms), and web analytics tools (including Google Analytics); and 3 years of professional experience utilizing syndicated research tools (including ComScore,).
